I was born in Mogwase Zone 4 and raised in the heart of Phokeng — on Royal Bafokeng soil. From a young age, I understood that some things are bigger than yourself. They are carried in the blood, in the name, and in the soil beneath your feet.
My academic journey began at Selly Park Primary School, continued at President Mangope Technical School where I matriculated in 2009, and later took me to Vaal University of Technology, where I graduated with a qualification in Human Resources in 2013.
But my real education — the one that truly shaped me — happened at Andrew’s Filling Station.
“This is not just a business. It is my grandfather’s name, my father’s legacy, and now my responsibility.”
— Ofentse Senne
A Family Empire, Three Generations Strong
For 11 years I have worked for one company only — the company that carries my family name: Andrew’s Filling Station (Pty) Ltd.
Founded by my late grandfather, Andrew Bokie Senne, this petrol station has now entered its third generation with me proudly at the helm. Taking over after the passing of my father, Obed ButiButi Senne, was never going to be easy. But comfort was never part of the plan. Legacy demands responsibility.
Today, what began as a single filling station has grown into a diversified family empire that includes:
- Premium Petrol & Diesel Supply (50 ppm low-sulphur)
- Lubricants
- Accommodation
- Logistics (sewer & water trucks)
- Farming
With over 30 employees, Andrew’s Filling Station has become more than a fuel provider — it has become a pillar of the Phokeng and Royal Bafokeng community.
Giving Back is in Our DNA
We believe that true success is measured not only by profit, but by the lives we touch. That is why Andrew’s Filling Station is known for:
Sponsoring local soccer teams with full kits and uniforms
Providing free water to the Bafokeng Nation
Supporting families in need during funerals with cattle
These are not marketing initiatives. They are our culture. They are how we honour the soil we come from and the people who walk it with us.
The Road Ahead
As we prepare for national expansion in 2027 and beyond, my promise remains the same as my grandfather’s: deliver premium quality fuel and world-class service, while never forgetting where we come from.
I am a father of too. One day, my children may choose to carry this legacy forward — but only if we continue building something worthy of passing on. Something rooted in hard work, integrity, excellence, and community.
"We are not just selling fuel.
We are fuelling the dreams of the next generation of South African entrepreneurs."
